This is a great little escape in Idaho. It has a wonderful menu and surprisingly GREAT sushi. It does has much more than sushi and it is all pretty good island inspired cuisine. They have very large sushi menu that is awesome for sushi lovers and first time sushi eaters. Go and try it. The dessert menu is amazing. The ice cream and cheesecakes are highly recomended. There us really only one major downfall: make sure you have some time, because service is slow. But if you have the time and are willing to spend just a LITTLE more, don't even hesitate. It is literally my favorite restaurant in the area

Da Pineapple Grill is just fab when it comes to fresh and great tasting sushi. I LOVE their sushi! My favorite roll(s), yes there's soo many to choose from! The Eleena's Specialty is the ultimate bomb. Wow, if you ever get a chance, try this roll. We usually sit up at the sushi bar, and the atmosphere is great. It's a blend of Island and asian theme. There's a tiki thatched roof over the sushi bar, with a mosaic tile counter and glass lighting across the bar. It's really a cool place to enjoy a great meal. I start with a cup of miso, and then some gyoza. The Eleena roll is plenty, but I do admit....I've eaten 3 different rolls in one sitting! (lol!) Some other recommendations- Pauhana roll, the KOHALA ROLL is becoming my next absolute favorite it has: Shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber inside, then on the outside, they put this sizzling volcano sauce sauteed with shrimp across the top, and there was some crunchies sprinkled with sesame seeds to finish it off. Just talking about it is making me want to go back....like right now! My mouth is watering for this sushi!
